Bathymetric lakes + City Maps + Topographic Maps

THE PROCESS

Our bathymetric maps start from collecting bathymetric data from various sources. Once the data is collected, the layers are digitally drawn up and are cut layer by layer. Each layer is then painted and secured together. If the map is greater than our 11″ x 14″, a frame from fir is made to wrap around the map. After the frame is put together, the map is then inspected again with touch ups on the paint to ensure that the paint is even.

Not so fine print

These maps are made for decorative purposes and should no way be used for navigation and/or exploration. 

Since these maps are hand-made that are hand painted, hand processed and with wood that can change from one piece to the next, your map could be different than the one in the picture. 

All of the picture frames for 11″ x 14″ are brand new. 

There are no refunds or exchanges for any customized maps as they are customized. 

Lastly, there may be changes made by the artist in terms of the engraving darkness, or paint shades of blue to make the map best suited for the lake. If there are specific instructions that you want, say that you want the lake to be red, or purple, you must let us know.
